hey you know what i really actually liked? speaking of orgy

the industrial show that's on 90.3 on sunday nights
such good music to work to
maybe i just liked it cuz i liked picturing all of the bands, and how many vinyl trench coats they were wearing. don't tell anyoneMust be awful, being so fluffy.

^ Brian, the DJ of Industrial Factory, also spins every Monday at River Gods (Weekly Wax). More shoegazer/indie pop than industrial but still good times.

River Gods is usually pretty open to anyone in Central who wants to spin on a night that they have free. It's not a great space for a dance night, but if you just want to go up and play some tunes for people having dinner, it's a pretty easy gig.

though, the booth up there is like a jail cell and last I recall (haven't spun there in almost ten years) the monitors were for shit.

It's not over-hyped, it's just disappointing. But not every album is gonna be innovative or as classic as their first few releases."Dude's just smashing fructosenormativity, lay off."

    yeah i disagree.
    it's totally over-hyped.
whether it's awesome or not the whole fawning over everything dp is over-hyped.
was even worse when boards of canada did their strange marketing thing.

    i hope it's mildly good.
none of their old albums stuck in my music rotation for long. but i saw them live once and they were fucking awesome.

I am more intrigued by new Boards of Canada than Daft Punk, but if either of them play out anywhere with good dancing space, I am so there.

I am way jazzed about the new Boards of Canada album.

Been rocking this band called Part Chimp quite a bit lately. Sluggy, noisey goodness.
