    last.fm's charts aren't indicative of my musical taste as a whole, but it's not completely inaccurate either. GBV and the Velvet Underground are rightfully high in my list of top bands

    lately though, i borrowed a friend's giant deathmetal cd book and have been listening through that. the winner so far is Nile, followed by satyricon.
