i hate 4 packs. and ya know what else? at deep ellum they serve some beers in fuckin' goblets or some shit. i hate that. all beer is to be served in full fuckin' pint (or better stil, 20 oz) glasses. or at least they should tell ya when they're gonna pour beer into a fuckin' small glass and charge ya 5 or 6 bucks for it. everytime they do that i get up on the bar and yell "do i look like a bitch?! DO I LOOK LIKE A BITCH?!" i get full pints now.

different beers have different glasses. i mean all i have at home is pint glasses and a snifter (for my beloved IPAs) but if you go to Belgium you're gonna get the same thing.....It's good to see that bars are using proper glassware for their beers....

this should explain it Chris Evil & the Taints

Should do a ride out the Sam Adams joint in JP sometime. They give free* tours, and with it comes free beer.

i had maybe the hoppiest ipa i've ever had the other day. it's fairly local. but i have to be an asshole and not tell ya what it is, cuz i want it all to myself. the first sip was so bitter i thought it was no good. three sips in and i was finished with the 6 in no time! i'm gettin' more tonight on the way home. i can fit 2 6's in my bag. if there's plenty at the place i got it, i may tell yall what it is. . .

for all you hop heads out there i just cracked a bottle of Southern Tier Gemini.

Southern Tier is definitely becoming one of my favorite brewers; right below Dogfish Head of course...which reminds me, my girlfriend got me this SWEET dogfish head jersey for x-mas...but they sent the wrong size. Hoping to get the replacement soon.

southern tier is a really good brewery, i got to drink a bunch on draft while i was away for the holiday in western new york (though not the gemini). too bad their labels suck ass, sometimes it nice to drink something that looks good.

i used to have a goal of only having beer cycling jerseys until i saw the schlitz one, and t totally sucked.

and on with dogfish head; if you ever want to have a GREAT three beers in a row that will get you feeling pretty good, go for a bear republic racer 5, then stone ruination, then a dogfish 90 minute ipa. the racer 5 will get your palette ready for the ruination, and then the 90 minute's taste is very much enhanced by the ruination, plus the beers are 7%, 7.7%, and 9%, like the equivalent of 5.5 pbrs or so... so get a glass of water before you leave the bar.

No. 11:I've been enjoying Harpoon's Leviation Baltic Porter. What's the deal with the leviathan series?

pretty sure Leviathan is just their series of "BIG" beers. The baltic porter is the third of the series. the first one was Triticus which was released in june which was a wheat wine style ale. I haven't tried that one yet cuz i haven't been able to find any of the leviathan series at my local stores....bummer. Chris Evil & the Taints
