I found that the Drift shoes were good at keeping my feet dry but they ended up being too small for me to fit thicker socks for warmth. I tend to have cold feet so someone else might have more success with staying warm using regular socks. Pretty comfortable walking around in, too.

I also had the Alpineduro for a while and appreciated the style and actually liked the low heel cutout. Pairing with gaiters is a good idea (gaiters in winter are great generally, even if it's just keeping salt off your pants when roads are wet). I eventually returned them because I found that in rain (like a few of the miserable cold rains we had earlier this winter) my toes got very wet. I've heard other people rave about the Alpineduros so maybe I just had bad luck or a bad pair...I was using them with cleats, so maybe that was allowing water in through the bottom (though you'd think they'd be sealed off). REI carries them if you wanna give 'em a try...they didn't ask any questions when I returned them citing non-waterproofness.I thought that might be you! But there was no shimmy-shake so I couldn't be sure.

Anyone interested in an XC/Freeride/Mountain Rig?
CL Post here...with contact info Crimes List Post
I just bought this off a guy on CL for $540...Rode it a bit and realized it's sadly just too small for me (it's a medium 17.5in).
Total impulse buy, mostly due to the price. Just looking to send it off to another good home for the same price.
So clean you could eat off it!
Currently has hybrid street tires (hyper-motard style)...snag some conti's off jenson for 20 a piece and your good to go.
Located in the North End...come take a spin!

Swift Industries Mini Shortstack panniers - $275

I bought these last summer when I had a few longer trips planned- I only went on one weekend trip that required them, and then I moved to NY where they've been sitting in a closet. I had them custom made for me in all red (black zippers and buckles) and ended up paying a little over 300. They're designed for lowboy front racks but I used them on a rear rack and they worked just fine. Since moving to NY I just find using my freight bag is way less of a hassle, even though I did get these to reduce the load I ride around with on my back. Oh well. These are practically brand new and I would ship them for free, since I'm not in Boston anymore. Let me know if you have any questions or want pics.and then the time will come when you add up the numbers

I have mini shortstacks, they are awesome - each one is a good size for everyday (lunch & change of clothes without having to arrange, probably even shoes with a little squishing/adjusting) and then it's got a cool unfoldable turtleneck that almost doubles capacity, like if you decided to go grocery shopping last minute. The lid and pocket are great for exterior quick access. And it looks like they stopped making them :(i mean that looks like a 10 cat bag, easy

Brand new Wraith Paycheck CX frame and fork for sale. Never had components fitted to it. I will be returning it to Wraith if I can't sell it locally. I am not impressed with the company or the construction of this frame (ugly welds) but if you don't care about that stuff, then maybe you'd want to buy it from me. They say that ugly welds aren't necessarily bad welds, but I bought this Handmade in the USA product with certain expectations and I don't think they were met.

$830 non-negotiable. This is exactly what I paid for it, which was a discount from the usual $1350.

    Frame photo: https://i.imgur.com/aRaJufh.jpg

    Closeups of the welds: https://imgur.com/a/yJTtq

The size is medium/large. Geometry chart is here: http://wraithfabrication.com/products/the-paycheck

    The frame+fork weigh 5.6lb together.

    More pictures upon request.

EDIT: Now Wraith is putting the squeeze on me and I have three days to sell it before a return is no longer an option... so there's that.

Anyone interested in my 700C carbon Aerospoke rear wheel with a single speed cog?
I got this wheel new for $420 a few months ago and now I'm just looking to change up my ride.
The wheel has a 16T single-speed cog attached with Origin 8 spacers on the free hub body. It also comes with an anti-theft quick release skewer that requires a 5mm allen wrench to remove the wheel from the bike.

I'll take $320 or a fixed/free wheelset of similar quality.
    Thanks!

I didn't trust that the refund would work out because I paid with a deposit + a followup payment, which Paypal says does not qualify for buyer protection. Then Wraith found the negative review I posted on reddit and a whole bunch of drama went down which made everybody involved very unhappy and the refund was refused, but I had no leverage anyway...

It's a stretch to call that a messenger bag
  18.
You're obviously free to ask whatever you want for that bag but I feel compelled to point out that used bags of that same model sell on eBay for around 40 bucks all the time, and you can find brand new ones from online retailers for $50-$100 max pretty easily.
