Ehhh, there are more expensive places than Toro (rialto, O ya, Uni, Oishii, Excelsior (RIP), number nine park, Radius, blah blah blah). Their brunch is pretty reasonably priced (around 20 bucks a head with 2 bloody mary's), and damn fine. Although the last time I was there for actual dinner tapas, I was completely out of my mind and didn't even know how much the bill was, I just threw down my debit card and wanted to crawl into bed.But the fact of the matter is: Bones heal. masa is a tapas place at columbus and arlington and they have a plate of 10 tapas items for 5 dollars on sundays, mondays, and thursdays. other days it's 10 dollars. all individual tapas are $1. 5 dollar half carafes of sangria too. you'd think I worked there, but I just went there last week and I liked it.
  3.
^ Masa is awesome, I've gone there twice and it's never disappointed. I went on a date for dinner there, and while it was a little empty (it was a tuesday though), the food was awesome. Brunch is also super cheap there, and similar to Toro. But the fact of the matter is: Bones heal. Chicks dig scars. tasca is still my favorite tapas place. but masa is closer and cheaper.

I'm just glad Shiki is around to satisfy my weeaboo cravings for izakaya style Japanese food, abit classier than what you'd normally get across the Pacific. That is if you like chopped up squid.

No, not really. I don't consider myself wealthy by any means, nor would I consider people who go to nicer restaurants once in a while to be wealthy either. I work at a salon on Newbury and can give anyone 25% off all services (facials, waxing and massages). Not free or cheap really, but we're slow. I only have two clients tomorrow which is unnerving. And I don't like either of them! Come! Give me your money! Or buy cheap gift certificates for people you love.

uh cause nothing booked in I don't have to be there til 2:15, but I don't actually have anyone until 3:30 or something. Call, make an appointment for whatever, whenever, tell me when you come in or whisper when it is and you're all set. Prices are on the website I'm sure and phone is 617 536 4447.

I should clarify it's 25% off until the end of march for anything with anyone at the salon (and 25% off next appt if you rebook) and after that I can do 20% anytime for anything I do and $10 off first time massage appts. Those are forever discounts. The 25% thing is our BAILOUT discount.

They don't call it that, but I really like using BAILOUT as often as possible.
