General: Driver hit a kid on Washington st. in Somerville

    Coming home on washington street I saw a bunch of cop cars blocking one of the lanes
    As I got around the corner I saw police tape everywhere a sad busted back end of a kids bike
    and a lot of blood :(
    I really hope the kid is alright.
    I know nothing about what happened expect I heard the (maybe) driver who works for the devine signs company complain about how he heard was a thump and how he didnt see the kid. They didn't seem to give him any attitude for hitting a kid... if it was him who was driving.
    I see more yelling coming from traffic cops then what I didnt hear coming from these cops.
    But just in case it could have been a hit and run and they were just interviewing witnesses

    And as a photographer I capture the moments while I can.. bad or good.

    saw the same thing while walking my dog about ten minutes ago. bad looking scene...

    my friend bryan got hit today while i was riding behind him. we were on arsenal (it turns into western ave) and some idiot coming the other direction turned left into him. bryan shouted and swerved but the guy didn't even try to stop. he went up on the hood and all that but is mostly okay. he was wearing a helmet thats about 12yrs old and it still manage to take a hit. His bike is completely totaled, so thats what he was most bummed about, other than that its road rash, bloody arm/face and extremely sore hand and foot.

    hopefully this younger cyclist is okay too.

    haha yeah the lemmingtrailers are a little odd, which is why i left the board for close to 6 months.
    i needed a break from their constant arguing/putting each other down/manipulation and disrespect for each other.
    honestly.

    no way really?? wtf i asked the cops who were there. it looked awful, i felt stupid asking but i wanted to know. what mo-fers. sorry. didn't mean to state otherwise if i had known. now i feel really cruddy for saying that...

    Basically, we need to figure out which liar was telling the truth: the internet or the police?

    Edit:
    Those family pictures are adorable. Coming here from Texas, it's nice to see parents captioning children's photos with "bring the troops home."

    Most importantly, I think it's easy to say that the kid is doing well... considering. That's great to hear.

    Is anyone here into statistics? Could we prove the hypothesis, "the internet is more truthful than the police" with this little observation?I prefer 49x16
