Looking some real track drops. Time to shake off the road bars.
Have Nitto Alu Road Bars, cyclolever, and other crap to trade if interested.
  1.
Looking for a cheap 700 x 35 or so hybrid front wheel. Bolt or QR, no matter.

It just has to be less crappy than the one on my loaner/beater bike right now.

If anyone has a set of 700 x 35 slicks they want to unload as well. . .Think you're escaping and run into yourself. Longest way round is the shortest way home.

    slowski:road drops and stem.
    42cm+/- and 100mm+/- <$100
looking for something not too fancy but worthy of keeping for more than a summer.

Specialized 40cm ergo drops w/ 110mm Bontrager Race Lite stem. 31.8 clamp, 1 1/8 HT clamp. <$100. How's that sound? I've even got a pair of drop levers that I don't want, and it's all in awesome shape. The kid's gotta learn that the game never lets up.

    WTB:

Replacement frame for my KHS, something with somewhat "aggressive" geometry.
52.5 to 54 ctc seat tube x 54 to 55 ctc top tube.
    Fork not necessary.
    Can be drilled for brakes.
    27.2 seat tube.
    1" threaded steerer preferred.

^Yeah, re-branded KHS fits the bill but if there happens to be a good price on something not welded by robots (or in a sweat shop), that'd be cool.

alexi gigantic:or buy a ti b17 and chop it

    Nope, too wide.
I have very narrow hips and most saddles chafe me.
The Swift may be an option but I really am interested in the best saddle I can find. Brooks saddles can last forever, so I don't mind the investment.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

So, I've found e-bay deals on the Swallow for $300. I'm hesitant because of their purported decline in quality, and while $300 is better than $500, it's still allot to spend on any one part. But I feel my bike will be perfect. Is this worth it? Are Brooks really as comfortable as others claim?

B17 Narrow? I don't know if they're actually worth all the fuss. Awesome options that I'm sure you've probably tried, that Erissa and I use: Specialized Toupe, available in a few slightly different models. Fizik Arione. What? I like it.The kid's gotta learn that the game never lets up.
