i coulda snatched up some now-illegal bars back in november but i was broke and all money was going to cross.

that ritchey thing looks like it can't possibly be any faster than standard drop bars.
  2.
I dunno, the drag factors between tubular aluminum and carbon wing elements on a set of handlebars are going to be minimal compared to your body english. If you can pump out more watts with upturned bars than you can with straight ups, and keep similar positions, that's gonna make you faster than if you were running some 800 dollar carbon setup and being uncomfortable but have a better wing shape on the base bar.

A best bet would be to have a look adjustable stem with some cheap bolt on bars, some wind tunnel time (or a standardized route), and figure out what position is more comfortable and produces the most speed... Then maybe aim for those last 5 seconds..But the fact of the matter is: Bones heal. Chicks dig scars. And the United States of America has the best doctor-to-daredevil ratio in the world!

So i want to replace my fuji frame. It was my first kid, and i was just gonna refinish it, but I like to spoil myself, and instead of buying a wacom tablet, large format printer, or camera supplies... I'll prob do this.
I'm broke and cant afford a new one if I cant sell the fuji. (you probably dont want it)

I plan on building up from what i've got:
    700c wheels
    and i'm 5'7" or so.
got a crank, and getting a new BB from Morgie probably.

    need:
    stem, headset.

Any suggestions from the fg gallery? I dont know shit.EPIC! Stratton: ^fwiw he did in fact have a map out.... ...while riding.... ...with no hands.... ..on fire*...

Depending on the type of frame your fuji is, it may not be worth it to put that much time/effort/money into it. My question, though, is: are you broke or are you looking to spend money? Those are two very different things.
  6.
I'm broke so i'm looking to spend as LITTLE money as possible. this fuji has cost me about $550-700 (not sure) including its initial cost. feel like part of that is because it was Bikes not Bombs. but its cheaper than having a car.EPIC! ^^I gotta Bianchi frame and fork sitting around. 51cm st, 53cm tt, center to center obviously. What, what?
  7.
anybody wanna sell me a crosscheck or something comparable? ideally a 56 but 55-57 would interest me...
  8.
Check ebay buy-it-nows under newly listed. you can find a surprising lot of great frame deals that way, I got a Reynolds 531 road for 100 dollars about five minutes after it was listed.

Edit: @Vectored.Boundgear - BFixed: Come for the legal advice. Stay for the name calling.

ya know, no big deal. i ended up picking up some tubes and a cool little minizine about bicycle touring in cascadia (and beyond...) for a couple bucks so it wasn't at all a loss.

if you're too broke for a xcheck, pake makes a similar cross frame (little slope on the tt, extended heattube, ugly color) thats a bit cheaper. To punish the oppressors of humanity is clemency; to forgive them is cruelty.

An adult tricycle. Preferably three-speed, front drum brake at least, with a badass basket on the back. My woman's left leg is mechanical and cyborg-like, with the deadly stare of a T-1000, but doesn't move too fluidly. She wants to go on rides, but doesn't currently own a bike and thinks a trike might work better. I'm looking online, but I thought I'd try here also. Budget is probably ~$150. Thoughts?i actually have a bottle of AIDs for exactly this circumstance

^^We have a pretty bad ass Trike at Superb, I would sell it for $200. Tom recently built an amazing rear rack for it and it also has a dope front basket. It is single speed with a coaster brake in the back and v brake up front. I don't know about taking it on rides with people on regular bikes though, unless you want to ride really slow, this is not a speed machineI am Superb

It is mad comfy too. I'd ride it. I'd also have a cooler on the back full of beer/food/and a stereo. But that's just me.brian QG: 4) Columbus tubing is Italian, rather than from Ohio like I originally thought. This sounds nice.

your 15mm wrench that you have for your rear wheel works equally well as a pedal wrench.

not as well if you are riding 9/16" pedals. also, adjustable wrenches are a bad way to go, they can loosen mid-wrenching and slip causing you to smash your knuckle into the chainring, which is what happened to me, big scar. i bought a pedal wrench the next day. that said, i have a spare park pw-3 i could sell ya for like $15.I like to take photos. --- 365 | 2010

naw it's not that uncomfortable.. real downside is the lack of leverage, but for casual use it's alright.. doubles as a decent 15mm for your bag as well..if your bike gets locked, you probably deserve it. I'm looking for a Medium/Large sized messenger bag, no real preference on brand, but I'd like something more neutral colored (dark blues, blacks, browns, etc.). I had my large Baileyworks super pro and loved it, but it's no longer in my possession. I don't really care what condition it's in, as long as it's not beat to shit and falling apart. No I am not a messenger, but yes, it does suit my boring student needs well, so that's why I'd like to pick one up for a reasonable price.

i have one, it does in a pinch, handy thing to have around. and portable. although it's a 3/32 chain whip so it doesn't work on my 1/8 shit. i was gonna use mah chain tool to put some old/extra length of 1/8 chain on there but now i can't find the goddamn thing.Beaver: jesus that is the gayest hipster shit i have ever heard
