The $640 was a returned item. They have all the sizes in here for $1200 and theres a 20% off coupon. But at that price the Lurch might be better equipped. I havent really done a comparison.A few spokes shy of a wheel.

Well they've still got the 19" return. The fact remains... SHOULD I BUY IT? I think I should. I've been wanting something very different from my hardtail, and if I move to Rochester it will be an absolute necessity, and if for some reason it doesn't fit I can always sell it for what I paid.

ETA: reviews say they run kind of small, so this should fit me perfectly.::lols at Dan's great photoshopping job:: ::slowly stops laughing:: ::googles:: ::kills self:: -tinyhonkshus

Someone found a stolen Eddy Merckx frame up in Arlington

    http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bik/4545188996.html

Today I found a Eddy Merckx bicycle on the Minuteman Bikeway. I am looking for it's rightful owner. If this is your bike or you know someone who lost their Eddy, reply to this email. It's too beautiful a bike for the owner to not know it's gone.

If you are missing your Eddy Merckx Bike, send me some of the details about the bike and please spread the word.

Someone talk to me about this frameset... 1986 Schwinn SS, Columbus Tenax tubes. He also has the full Shimano 600 group for sale, but I'm thinking single speed at the moment...

I've actually owned two of those mid-eighties Schwinn's with the Tenax tubes. They are sweet as hell but I wouldn't pay $150 for just the frame, fork, headset and bb, I got both of mine complete on Craigslist at $200, with one with 105 and one with DA. I bet you could find something nicer on ebay within that price range, though I've never shopped for a frame that big so maybe that's harder? Also do you want to pick it up in Lowell?"Dude's just smashing fructosenormativity, lay off."

    theyre jacking TSB steeze..

and it's really just a touring frame, just jumping on the adventure bandwagon with that name.
headtube is pretty darn small tho.
baseline tubing, nothing special there. an old peugeot would be made of better metal. nothing lightweight about it.
the 132.5 rear spacing versatility is pointless if the tire clearance only goes up to 38c.
thoughts are: worth it for the cool paint job. if the geo works for you.somebody turn the lights off on this place already.

Not bad for $150 I think, good to ride as is but I wouldn't put any money into replacing or upgrading. Front derailleur logo looks like 'Shimano 600' to me? AFAIK if you're running friction any double front der would work fine."Dude's just smashing fructosenormativity, lay off."

I'm going to look at this Salsa Spearfish this afternoon:
    http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/bik/4609160606.html

Trying to decide whether it's worth $800.

    Cons:
Old REBA fork, maybe 2006 or 2007. Dual air design version, not sure how it compares to recent models.
    BB7s.
Older rear suspension design (vs redesigned split-pivot rear susp)
    Longer chain stays, steeper HTA
    9 speed

    Pros:
Old spearfish design was still very popular and well-regarded!
    HTA not that steep (71d)
Decent component spec aside from BB7s and being 9 speedI am the reason your son is crying.

I definitely want a 29er though. I ended up not buying the Spearfish. The owner let me test ride it on some local trails - it was amazingly plush and just floated over rooty sections, but didn't turn as quickly or confidently as I wanted, and didn't allow me to clean some steep, tight climbs that I probably could have on a hardtail. Still a great bike for someone looking for all day comfort over an aggressive ride.I am the reason your son is crying.
  4.
Early '29ers were pretty clumsy in turning IMO - I'm willing to bet you'd like a more modern bike a lot more. I rode a 2011 Kona Unit and thought the exact same thing, but 2013-2014 bikes are way more nimble.Naaaah, too uncool for the #messlyfe. I just like to hang out in loading docks and pretend to talk on my radio so that people will like me. - Mfratt

I had been riding a Santa Cruz Highball hardtail. The frame was too small, but that bike still set the standard for handling for me.I am the reason your son is crying.
