    megabus to nyc - never paid more than $20 round trip(if you buy a couple weeks in advance) and the buses have wifi and outlets on board. no bikes allowed though, although i have brought the equivalent (frame and wheels) disassembled a few times.I like to take photos. --- 365 | 2010

    there's also the apex. i take whichever is easier to find. they moved in the past year or so, & it's $12 one way or $20 RT. i usually end up on one the way down and a different one on the way back so i don't buy the round trip. i leave from nyc on the one from allen st (maybe they both are?). also, when you're coming back i recommend the one on 11th street in front of the wawa. b/c it's in front of the wawa, and you can stock up on amazingness and custom hoagies before coming back! yum.

    New saddle day! Kate at Ferris Wheels sold me a used, beat-up Specialized Jett (sup Ella) for $10. It's ugly as sin, but comfortable so far - I'd pay $10 to be sure whether I wanted a $150 saddle any day.     I've only taken the "New Century Bus" from NYC<->Philly. It is cheap and fast but sucks though cause the operators never say anything so I just hope it is the right bus and I'm not going to DC or something, also it's always like a mad rush to get your bike under the bus and then find a seat in time before it fills up.Pull food on bike carts at Food Not Bombs Boston.

    yeah. i took it home for thanksgiving and it was a nightmare on the way down to philly. people screaming & yelling at each other and they didn't form any sort of line so i was one of the first people, put my bike under, and then they had filled up. stood on a scurb for an hour and half before getting on a bus after 6.5hr fung wah ride. that's why travelling around tgiving blows.
