University Wafer is a small shipping company based in South Boston.

We are looking for someone with website building, maintenance, and programming skills. We are looking to expand our ecommerce/online marketing and possibly maintain Google Adwords account. We also want to start using Amazon CloudFront and Google Base. As a small company we need someone who can do basic office tasks like answer phones, pack boxes, and update inventory, in addition to website maintenance tasks. Applicants should be able to lift about 50lbs. This job requires doing a little bit of everything. We're looking for someone who is a self starter, someone who can take a little bit of direction and go a long way with it.

In my position at university wafer I have encountered many different situations. I've mainly been the web administrator, in control of maintaining nearly 200 domains. Updating the websites with relevant content. I was also given the opportunity to provide the company with new ways to get their information to the clients using google applications. As an integral part of the team I've also been a major component of getting the product out to the clients.

If you're interested you can email a resume to CB@universitywafer.com

I worked here for the last 6 months. It's pretty awesome. By Awesome... i mean its got its perks, the job itself is a basic web/office job.EPIC! Stratton: ^fwiw he did in fact have a map out.... ...while riding.... ...with no hands.... ..on fire*...

you looking to just make some monies? or you wanna enjoy yourself?

Match in Back bay is probably hiring a bus boy soon, not exactly a super "cool" job, but not a bad gig either..

The two times I've gone to Match, I've left with a splitting headache. I think it's from the lighting, or the gas.

I just want to do something that doesn't threaten to fire me if I don't sell 200 dollars of shit every hour.Naaaah, too uncool for the #messlyfe. I just like to hang out in loading docks and pretend to talk on my radio so that people will like me. - Mfratt

    Fair.
One thing you can look at is valet parking. Your mileage will vary, but it's a unique experience and it's cash money every night. Also, if you're into cars it's fun. Even if not, driving other people's cars is a blast once you get over your nerves. We'll get you a cat, don't worry -t-honks

Yeah, check CL. Ultimate or Exclusive are the ones I'd try. I worked for Exclusive and then Ultimate bought them out. They're a pretty professionally run company and they won't fuck you over on your paychecks.

Edit: Seeing as how you're at least mildly accident prone, I'd be careful. And if you end up valeting, I want to hear stories. We'll get you a cat, don't worry -t-honks

Haha. It'd be some sort of weird immersion therapy in risk and you'll either overcome it or get fired immediately for causing a 6 car wreck on Boylston that somehow sets a building and a basket of puppies on fire. Either way, it's a win. Just don't leave any doubt about whether you killed a guy or not. We'll get you a cat, don't worry -t-honks

I hire most of the valets in Boston. Joe knows this and I don't know why he didn't mention it. You're welcome to apply, but from what I've read on these boards, I'm not sure if valet parking would be the right gig for you Craig.

Like Joe said, you wouldn't want to get fired for burning down any puppies or running over pedestrians. It's not francois' fault that you weren't looking hard enough.

for all who are interested, email me at baumannphoto [at] gmail [dot] com with a resume and whatever else might be relevant and ill pass it along to the boss man with a personal recommendation.RIDE METAL

I just landed an interview off this company who posted on craigslist. I'm trying to get some more information about the company (Church Realty in allston) so I can be prepared for the interview/make sure they're legit. Google'ing and yelping the business yields no information other than their address. Is there any way to get more info on them just to make sure there not gonna have me selling knives?

For what it is worth, I just looked them up under the Secratary of State's Corporation Division, and there is no listing for any entity under the name "Church Realty" in MA. They may legally exist under some other name, but I think it would be odd not to not have a filing with the State. *shrugs*All you white kids look alike when you're still covered in baby fat, so I was getting bored with the non-stop WASP parade.
