  4.
I have a great life. And hair. On my head. And don't have to rationalize why I'm better than you because of how much you use Bostonfixed compared to me even though you have no idea what I do with my free time or where I am right now (riding my bike on a cross country tour, currently going through Wisconsin, using the internet at Starbucks on a morning breakfast binge of coffee and cigarettes, perhaps, while you're on the internet at work.). But I do have hair on my head. HAHA!

    Also, you're a pretentious idiot.

edit - I mean, like, actually, really, really, really dumb. You should probably kill yourself.

I just got back from Austin, Texas and not excited to be in the lab but I work over at the BUMC. I'm in an infectious disease group and do a lot of sequencing - wet lab stuff but also some computational biology stuff as well. I know a couple of y'all are over at BUMC - I'm in the Evans building now but someday I'll be over at the NEIDL (that fancy new biocontainment facility they built and can't use).

    I love me some science.
  19.
^infectious disease groups = my kind of science!

Much like the earth's mantle, that sort of thing is beneath us.

no, i'm in core lab so i work for the department, sort of. we have a lab manager but no PI or anything, we mostly run DNA extractions, sequencing, and SNPs on samples that other labs/projects send to us. i believe myers lab is somewhere around mine but i'm pretty new here and don't know many other department people.

oh cool! well my name's Chris and you should definitely say hi if you see me. I've been known to wonder the corridors and I park in the cages. I'm usually walking around in bike shoes and have some visible tattoos (which is a rarity here). Since this is the science thread and all this is one of them (on my leg).

I've been known to wander the corridors on my way to lunch and otherwise getting lost and I park in the cages or in front of the instructional building. I'm usually walking into/out of work in bike shoes/shorts if i'm going riding after work and have some visible tattoos (which is a rarity here). i don't have any pictures of them.
