    i have an urgent question

i need to sign up for my company's volunteer day TODAY - like, right now.

has anyone ever ridden to Long Island (the boston one)? or driven? how is it? are there tolls and shit? would getting there for 9am be cray with traffic and stuff? i'd be working there from 9am-1pm on Friday.

i want to volunteer at The Farm at Long Island run by the Friends of Boston's Homeless, but my company doesn't provide transportation there on the day of service. HALPMust be awful, being so fluffy.

I... don't know if they'll allow you to ride a bike all the way out there? You have to pass through a police checkpoint to get out there.

Someone on here did some work out there - longtime person, not newb (I have only been there once, driving an architect out there in my cab).

But driving or riding there ain't bad, just go out to Squantum in Quincy (i.e. you have to take 3A along Quincy Shore Drive, and then you're pretty much there I think?) It's doable either way. Trafficky though in a car.
  4.
PS: it is so beautiful out there... like a little slice of the Cape in Boston Harbor.
  5.
WHERE CAN I GET SMALL CARDBOARD BOXES LIKE 3" BY 3" OR SMALLER FOR SHIPPING TINY STUFF? NO ENVELOPES.You said time was infinite, so why the watch wrapped around your wrist?
