I have a black frame that i bought off a friend. Have no idea what it is but it is not too heavy and it's my size. Sourcing most of the small bits from the used parts bins at my shop. Except wheels. The. Wheels I am maybe buyiing have all city high flange hubs (in pink) and somee salsa rims.

Also ii found some rad old sugino cranks that I'm gonna use with sone of their messenger chainrings.
  4.
First man, should have said that you are building a SS/fixed gear, don't make us decyfer this stuff. Also make sure that the messenger rings and the cranks are the same BCDTake-off everything but your rainboots

Yeah I should have said that. And I think they do have thhe same bcd if not I have a spare set of origin8 cranks with chainring. That may have to hold me off untill I scrape together the moneys for the sugiinos. Also. Opinions on using smaller front wheels. Like a 650 in the front. From what I've heard its really twitchy.

Because it's like your mom, Dongzi. It's gauche, it gets passed around for a six pack, people occasionally try to make improvements to it but give up when they realize it's not worth it, and for a long time it was impossible to get that pole out of its seat hole. We'll get you a cat, don't worry -t-honks

in the process of spray-painting my beloved "bike gang" nishiki mixte. it's high ten, mostly rust around the bridges, and i don't give a fuck. i love the crap out of it. i took naught but a wire wheel and some alcohol to it, and have been dusting it the past two weeks with paint. let's see how long it holds up without primer! pictures later.

Go to the B2C2 swap tomorrow and grab a cheap groupset from someone. Find some cheap 9 speed 105 or Deore XT.A few spokes shy of a wheel.

Once upon a time, it had a 3-speed internal hub (hence the horizontal dropouts, for maintaining chain tension).

    Wut, that's ginormous. And neat.

that reminds me, FC last Tuesday with someone on a similarly styled Merckx but I think it was yellow, purple, and pink, on Western ave. We complimented your bike at a light, because we were terrible people driving an orange car. It was to go pick up a bike, though."life is hard, cats are soft." - surprisefries
