I feel like they could have made the fork and stay accents more matchy, or more contrasty like a nice blue or teal instead of purple (or red), but that's a real small personal preference. Looks sweet and fast!"life is hard, cats are soft." - surprisefries

What I don't understand: You spent all that time lovingly lighting and photographing your bike, but you couldn't pick up your jacket and move the can?

;)Worstcase I'll just zip tie on a seat... but i'd rather not. —Zev (who else)

Got this frame back from powder Friday night and waisted no time. The dude from spicer sent me the sticker set without evan asking for payment. Supper cool. Of course i had to go with the sparkle powder coat.

while on the topic, anyone have any experience with Pike powder coating dudes in lower allston? Seems like a raw frame would be around $150 powder coated through them. Was wondering if anyone has seem their work.MUFFDVR

The way I interpret this is the customer strips the bike *of parts* and then hub cleans bike of all pain, decals and rust, paints it, and returns it for the customer to do the re-install of components. Not a terrible deal!and then the time will come when you add up the numbers

    Yes, that's exactly it: http://hubpowderworks.com/stepbystep
Though I don't think it's possible for anyone to strip your bike of all its pain. Pain is an important part of the bicycling experience.::lols at Dan's great photoshopping job:: ::slowly stops laughing:: ::googles:: ::kills self:: -tinyhonkshus

not to contradict but I found their masking to be spot on. I got 2 forks done, canti bosses and crown races were perfectly masked. When did you get stuff done by them? maybe they got better.Naaaah, too uncool for the #messlyfe. they brought their "demo bike" to be cleaned up, chased/faced, assembled, and tuned to cambridge bike. this was in december.

everything (even brake calipers, shifters, and wheels) had been coated and it was a similar deal to someone who completely spraypaints a stolen bike in that nothing fuckin worked

gastronomin:Hm, I hope I uploaded the pictures right this time...o_O

Finally upgraded the frame on my fixed gear. The most important thing for me in picking the frame was tire clearance- I wanted to be able to throw tires on that could handle all weather and also help me get into more CX-esque riding this spring/summer/fall. I've also always thought this frame was so sexy!
