Time for a good weekend ride. I'm hoping to rally people for a southeast ride to Marshfield. Leaving 8AM from Christian Science Center (northeast end by the fountain). We'll ride out through the Blue Hills and then through Holbrook, Abington, Hanover, go see the beach and take different roads back. Should be a nice route and quiet Sunday roads. 60ish miles. Fast, but nothing crazy (20mph on the flats).

Weather is the question mark. Rain/snow at 730AM cancels. Bundle up. This from
A slight chance of snow showers before 9am, then a slight chance of rain showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Post here if you'll be coming.

    New time/place.

Sunday(today). LEAVING 130PM from JP Licks on Centre St in Jamaica Plain. Probably 2 hours of riding. Nice day to get out!
Good times today. Only 3 of us for a short 30 miles. Fun, easy route through JP, Mattapan, Blue Hills, up to the weather station, through the Blue Hills, up Blue Hill Ave, through Franklin Park and through Arbroretum. Stopped to look at the bonsai trees in the Arboretum. I'm going to try to get out for at least two longish rides a month throguh the winter. It's not so bad with headband, two socks, good gloves.

Repeats on the hill to the Blue Hills weather station next summer! Couple steep spots.
