Revolution Bicycle Repair J.P. is going to need another mechanic this spring. We are looking for someone that has some shop experience, the more the better. This person should posses an ability to fix things(Bikes/bike parts etc.), talk to customers and be courteous in all manners(unlike me). You'll need to answer the phone, dump the trash etc.etc.etc. All that stuff and more. How many track bikes you own or whether you eat animals or not doesn't concern us. How fast you can fix things and how punctual you are is really what matters most to us. From time to time you may need to run the J.P. or the downtown shop by yourself. I talk a bit of shit on this dopey web-site but make no mistake, I take my work seriously and will not tolerate shitty workmanship in others. If you can't build a set of wheels in under an hour, I guarantee you will be able to next year. We are willing to pay whatever your worth. We are looking for somebody, possibly two people to work part-time. A few days a week. If you are not really sure you can work alone without guidance, please try your hand at another bigger shop, that doesn't have the quality control that we require. If you don't know how to build wheels at this point, don't worry about it. We will teach you and you will love it. Obviously you get bike stuff for yourself at cost and get to be part of the best shop(s) in the world(if not just greater Boston). We already have some names and numbers but I figured some arm-chair mechanics here might actually know a qualified candidate? Please just go by one of the shops, don't call or email. What Would James Do?WWJD
Ben Wah will not be around this Sunday. If you're really jonesin to get your foot in the door stop by. Or just wait till Monday or next week when Ben's around. Ben pretty much runs the JP shop, so it's more of his decision as to who we hire.WWJD
